not only prayer

prayer without action is like a car without fuel. Nigerians need to realise this sooner or later. Whenever something bad happens in Nigeria, i find that the most common reaction by Nigerians is "we need prayers", and while i believe in the power of prayers, i also know that we have been praying for our country since i was a toddler....and our country seems to be getting worse and not better. With the uprising in the middle east against the establishment, i have come to believe that what we need in Nigeria is not only prayers but also action. We need the youth to rise up and fight for their future....because right now the future is slowly looking more gloomy with every kidnapping, every bomb attack, every corruption scandal that breaks out, with every Nigerian that emigrates out because they just see no future for them in their homeland. We do not need another article (like the one i am writing) because we have a lot of them. What we need are angry people who are sick and tired of the status quo. What we need are people who are willing to die for what they believe in. So for every Nigerian that ever thinks those words " we need prayers"...... think again....cos what we need is not just prayers but action....xoxo....
