love yourself first

so i had an epiphany a couple of weeks ago while driving in my car....( ok maybe not  quite lol) but it was like one of those ah-Ha moments when i finally understood the very popular saying "you cannot truly love someone else if u do not love yourself". the way i understand it is, when two people marry, they become one ( and a man shall leave his family and take a wife and they shall become one). So if this is true, it means that when you are married you become one with your partner and you cannot truly love your partner if u hate urslef. Its either u love urself and love the union you make or u hate yourself and deep within hate your partner and your union.....i hope this makes sense to someone.....but yeah..lol....that was my moment...xoxo lovies
