dearest family

hello family...
sorry i have been gone for so long
so much has happened in the time past
so much...where do i begin....
i do not have much time today
but i have learnt that i need to control my anger
i have learnt that in the end....
family is still family

you see....i love all my family
voke, jivwe, ogbes, oyomi, brume and ofovwe
i love my mom and my dad
but i also know that distance affects relationships
and time....time....it changes people
in time people grow older
they become independent minds
they change from little ones to welll....one would hope grown adults

distance and time has had its toll on my family
i sometimes want to take it back...to the days when things were really simple
i love my family....but time has made us strangers....
very familiar strangers
we have all grown up to adults
individuals with very different views in life
from the Christian to the Buddhist
the Pentecostal to the catholic
our believes may make us different
but we are bond by something much stronger
love....yes love is a much much stronger bond
that can never be destroyed by anything

our bonds is what will keep us together
our bond will  help us find our way
in the hardest of times
it will carry us back home
to that little house ....in a land long forgotten and despised
a land we will always call home....
