i am angry

yes....angry at things i see everyday....discrimination, injustice, racism, violence against women and exploitation.....i am angry at

1. The tweets that flooded twitter this week about black actors being cast in hunger games....it makes me even more sad because teenagers are behind these tweets. Like wat is this world coming to....how can anyone call the beautiful young girl an "ugly nappy headed nigger".....like seriously

it is very painful imagining what this girl is going through and knowing that one day i would have a daughter that would be exposed to such hate from stupid people

2. i am angry when i read stories involving violence against women. Its a pain i think most women feel, any man that does this is a coward and deserves to be in jail indefinitely

3. the trayvon martin case irks me....why hasn't zimmeman been arrested. RIP trayvon !!!

4. I am angry about the wars in Sudan where ethnic cleansing is still occurring and the world pays not attention...maybe if oil was there we would pay more attention.

5. I am irked by the invisible children organisation....more so because i supported the whole kony movement but they keep burying their credibility everyday

6. I am even more angry with myself because i feel like i could be doing more....contributing my quota

Although i am angry, i have hope because i know that there are over a billion people like me who are angry at the same thing. I have hope when i read about how a racist group was outnumbered one to 10 by a group that fought against racism during recent protests in Edmonton......
