Simple
I believe Christianity is meant to be simple.
The message of Christ is simple: Love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself.
Jesus came to remind us that we are children of God , that we share in the inheritance of Christ. We are not strangers to God, but family. We are brothers and sisters in the same divine love. The essence of God is not complicated. We are the ones who complicate it.
Over time, religion has added layers of rules, expectations, fear, judgment, and debate. But when you return to the heart of Christ’s message, it becomes simple again. When you truly open your heart to love, faith stops being heavy. It stops being about proving, performing, or perfecting.
Faith becomes about living.
Faith becomes about loving.
When love is at the center, judgment fades. You stop needing to be perfect. You stop condemning yourself. You stop condemning others. You begin to see yourself and others the way God sees us , with compassion and tenderness.
Christ revealed God not as a distant judge, but as a loving Father. And when I say “my Father” now, I really mean it.
A true father does not abandon.
A true father does not shame.
A true father does not turn away.
A loving father is patient, gentle, and relentlessly kind.
So today, I rest in that simplicity.
I let go of the complexity.
I return to love.
Because the message of Christ was never meant to be hard.
It was meant to be home.
